The Position
We are looking to hire one full-time Customer Service Representative (CSR) to support our Sales Agents in selling, servicing, and renewing crop insurance policies. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well with others, seeks to build a long-term career, and possesses exemplary customer service skills.
Essential Job Functions
- Input data and prepare all reports (applications, acreage reports, PAWs, et cetera) along with required paperwork and quotes for Agents.
- Research policy provisions to provide information to agents and/or customers.
- Manage phone calls & emails from Customers and Adjusters, providing information, assignments of indemnity, proof of insurance, analyze billing statements and claim payments, and historical information on policies.
- Assist in handling compliance issues, including Tax ID errors and Conservation Non-Compliance.
- Search County Assessor sites to find the policyholder’s property.
- Utilize appropriate software to input data, print reports, and use provided mapping systems to identify the property being insured.
- Input information from inspections and verify input by insurance company Underwriters.

Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred.
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to operate simple office equipment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Appropriate Licensure.
